I remember the days when I had all of the time to spend, feeding my first born son. I fed him jar after jar of sweet potatoes (the only thing he would eat) without a care in the world.
Fast forward 4 years and 2 more kids. Feeding my baby daughter Katherine is a practice in multi-tasking. Besides feeding her, I'm making dinner, helping Ross with a project and putting band aids on Hogan's never ending assortment of boo-boos.
Needless to say, I was excited to try The Baby Dipper bowl. Here is how it works. You put you baby's food in the bowl of The Baby Dipper, preferably somewhere out of your babies reach (can I say, bananas in their hair?). For me, that's on the counter. The edges of the bowl are contoured to help you get a big ol' spoon full of the food. The edges are awesome for leveling out your spoon and then you can feed your baby.
The excellent this about it, is you can do all of this one handed. Never again do you have to hold a little container of food in one hand while spooning it in to your child's mouth. The Baby Dipper frees up one hand to do the million other things you do when you feed your baby. Like, for example grab the big bag of marshmallows your 2 year old is walking around with, eating like they are a box of crackers :) (that did happen to me today!)
While Katherine isn't old enough to feed herself, my 2 year old is. Hogan was able to eat his applesauce out of the bowl... and get this - NONE of it landed on his shirt, in his hair or on my chairs or table :) Its the little things that make moms happy!
The Baby Dipper was invented by Barbara, mom of twin 5 year old girls and twin boys too. Two sets of twins!
Check it out and free up a hand!
